ICT2022 will be held Nov. 3-5, 2022 in Macau, China

We are pleased to inform all of you that the ICT 2022 conference will be held in Macau, China Nov. 3-5, 2022 both on-site and online. You are all welcome to come to join us. You are welcome to submit unpublished papers to the conference and come. After the 2020, 2021 pandemic we are hoping to have a physical conference in Macau. We also provide the possibility to attend the conference online. Please keep an eye on the details of the conference. Our host is the City University of Macau.

ICT2020 Successfully Held in Shanghai and Online

From November 6th to 7th, the 10th China-Spain International Conference on Tourism and Hospitality (ITC2020) was successfully held. This conference was organized by Shanghai Normal University, the School of Tourism of the University of Balearic Islands, Autonomous University of Barcelona and South China University of Technology. Due to the COVID 19 epidemic, this conference was held in the form of online video conference with live broadcast centered in Shanghai Normal University.

Conference Chair, Professor Hongmei Zhang hosted the conference opening ceremony. The vice president of the university, director of the school Professor Kang Nian delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He pointed out that both China and Spain, two ancient civilizations, have very rich tourism and cultural resources. The founding chair of the conference, Professor Yuhua Luo, Chair of the conference Tolo Deya from University of Balearic Islands, Chair of the conference Professor Gemma Cànoves, Autonomous University, Barcelona delivered speeches remotely via video conferencing. 13 keynote speakers gave their speeches online. The second day, 5 parallel sessions with different themes were held with the research and industrial paper presentations via video conferencing. For a list of all these speeches, please see here.
The organization team at Shanghai Normal University has done a great job. It was a great celebration of the 10th anniversary of our conference. Participants enjoyed the conference very much and they will continue to enjoy it in the coming future.

ICT2020 Proceedings book will be Published by Springer Nature

The preparation of the conference is going on well. It is coming soon. We decided the registration will be free for this online event. The organization team will finance the conference. We are at the stage of forming the program. All the accepted papers can be presented in the conference. Please confirm your speech by replying the mail from the conference. Authors can submit full English version of the paper in order to be considered to publish in our proceedings book published by Springer Nature after the conference. You can see the 2019 proceedings here.
The proceedings will be sent for indexing by ISI Web of Knowledge (CPCI-SSH—Conference Proceedings CitationIndex - Social Science & Humanities).

Our Conference Host

Our host of this important conference is the Shanghai Tourism School of the Shanghai Normal University. The school is listed in the world-renowned universities for tourism studies, a pioneer in the China Tourism education. It is a member of the World Tourism Organization, a member of the "Five-Star Alliance" of China Tourism Academy, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the ESCAP Asia-Pacific Tourism Education and Training Agency (APETIT). The school journal “Tourism Science” is a journal under the Chinese Science Citation Index (CSSCI) and Chinese and social sciences (CASS).
